 Change
became evident in both large and small ways. An increasing variety
of store-bought fabrics were used in clothing. Wall tents were pitched
beside the more traditional teepees. This scene, captured by a traveling
photographer, was published as a picture postcard titled “Shoshone
Tea Party.”
